Standard Hosting Package

InterNetyx offers standard web site hosting starting at $20/month for individuals and nonprofit organizations, and $25/month for commercial websites. Your hosting account with InterNetyx gives you all of the following benefits:

• an ftp username and password that allows you to upload your website to our server
• use of your own domain name (they cost $20 per year, that includes registration, transfer, DNS, everything. Sure beats Verisign's $35/year!)
• email forwarding, that is, email@yourdomain gets forwarded to your real email address (sometimes called "vanity email address"). Note that our email server runs a heavy-duty spam filter to get rid of a lot of the pornographic, gambling and just plain annoying commercial bulk email, at no additional cost to you. Note also that using our server to send unsolicited bulk email or to receive bulk email responses is strictly prohibited.
• access to CGIs/scripts for processing forms, redirecting, claculating payments, looking up table values, performing conversions, and other things. Setup charges may apply.
• access to basic SSI and MGI tags (see the dynamic content page)
• access to site traffic statistics and hit logs
• daily website backups and archiving
• 24/7 access (barring emergencies) and a fast T-1 connection
• access to "secure.internetyx.com" for secure page serving and form submission (setup charge may apply)
• name your main page whatever you want (i.e. doesn't have to be "index.html")
• write your own "404 Not Found" error page if desired

Hosting Agreement

Please review our hosting agreement. It's a good bit of legalese, but we have to protect ourselves in this business. We have every intention of providing excellent service to customers who need hosting services, even if we have to protect our backside, knowhatImean? And we don't want anyone to feel like they're going to get taken for a ride, just because the Agreement lays down some guidelines. If you host with us, you're going to get a good value for your money, you betcha.

Premium Hosting Package

The Premium Hosting Package is available for $50/month. The following are the benefits of the Premium Hosting Package:

• All setup fees are waived
• Website storage is "unlimited"
• Up to 10 of your employees/family members may have regular email accounts on the server
• Logging and hit statistics are automatically enabled, daily/monthly reports automatically generated
• Tab-delimited databases at no monthly cost
• Site search
• Registration of one domain name and annual renewal at no cost (as long as you have registered or transferred the domain using our registration service, normally $20/year)
• Multiple domain names pointed at your web site

Domain Name Registration and Transfer

You may register your domain names with us for $20/year (a $15/year savings over what Verisign charges). You may transfer your domain to us for $20, and then renew at the same time you would have renewed.

Extras

You can add the following to your Standard Hosting Package at additional (nominal) charge:

• High storage requirements (10+ megabytes storage), $1 per 10 MB per month
• Multi-megabytes per day of site traffic, negotiable
• Server-based email accounts (POP), $2 per month per account. See note above about bulk email prohibition.
• Additional domain names pointing to your main web site, $2 per month per domain name. For example, having yourdomain.com and yourdomain.net, or having server1.yourdomain.com and server2.yourdomain.com. Note that domains with different TLDs (e.g. .com or .net) are subject to a $25 per year maintenance fee.
• Access to other CGIs for dynamic content (setup fees vary, monthly fees vary)
• Daily server log processing and log summary page generation (stats accumulate by month), $1 per month
• Site search ($20 setup fee, $2 search update fee, no monthly fee)

FrontPage Extensions

Our server, being a Macintosh, doesn't have FrontPage extensions, sorry. However, standard websites created with FrontPage will usually work on our server without much effort.
